How do I control who appears on the right side?
The primary sender’s messages appear on the right, like your own texts on your phone. Set it per chapter in Contacts.
In every chat app, your own messages sit on the right. In your book, the "primary sender" plays that role.

Open "Contacts" in the sidebar.

Click the radio button next to the person whose messages belong on the right. Everyone else appears on the left.

The choice is per chapter, so a book of different conversations can have a different primary sender in each.
Note: For a chapter you were not part of, like a thread between your parents, choose "No primary sender" and every message appears on the left.
