How do I put text on the spine?
The Spine tab sets the spine text, font, colors, and position. Books need more than 80 pages for spine text.

Open the "Spine" tab in the cover designer sidebar.

Type your spine text, usually the title and a name or year.

Choose the font, size, text color, and background color, and set the position to top, middle, or bottom.
Note: Books with 80 pages or fewer are too thin to display spine text. The spine width also grows with your page count, and the preview always shows the true proportions.
