How do I show or hide dates, times, names, and page numbers?

The Options section controls chapter headers, dates, times, sender names, and image size for the whole book.

Open "Options" in the sidebar to control what appears around your messages:

  1. 1

    "Show chapter headers" toggles the chapter title pages. It appears once your book has two or more chapters.

  2. 2

    "Show dates" prints the date above each new day of conversation, and its "Show times" setting adds a 12 hour or 24 hour time to every message.

  3. 3

    "Show names above messages" labels who sent each received message, which group chats turn on automatically. "Include my name above messages" adds your name to sent messages too. A single chapter can also override this: open the chapter menu under "Chapters" and set "Show names in chapter" to Show or Hide.

  4. 4

    "Image size" sets how large photos print: Small, Medium, or Large.

Changed your mind about everything? "Reset all options to defaults" puts it back the way it started.
