How do I change the names above messages?
Open Contacts in the sidebar and type the name you want. Each chapter keeps its own names.

Open "Contacts" in the editor sidebar.

Each contact has a text field. Type the name you want to appear in the book, "Mom" instead of a phone number, or a nickname instead of a full name.

Names apply per chapter, so the same person can be "Mom" in one chapter and "Grandma" in another if the books span generations.
Tip: The contact menu next to each name also lets you set a custom text and background color for that person, which is lovely for group chats.
