Created a book of texts with my son from 2015 to today. All our conversations and photos now saved in book form… or I mean 3 books.
We uploaded the files with easy instructions and simple cover design templates allowed me to have photos on the cover. What a great keepsake.
The texts spanned college, work and marriage requiring three thick volumes. This is so worth how little it costs.

I feel so fortunate to have recently discovered My Forever Books on Facebook. My son Keith passed away 2 1/2 years ago and I was concerned about losing our texts over the years and it was time to upgrade my phone. I had made over 150 screen shots of my treasured texts with Keith, but hadn’t found time to actually assemble them together into some kind of keepsake. After realizing that My Forever Books was the perfect way to take these texts and make them into permanent book form, I was excited to get started.
Josh was very helpful and supportive as I went through the process of creating my book. When I needed a one to one session, an appointment was easy to schedule and Josh promptly answered any email questions sent. I was very impressed with the format options to customize the various book features while creating it. I could have edited the texts before publication, but I decided it would be more authentic to leave the original texts. Later when I actually had the book in my hands, I was really pleased with the quality of the hardcover book and the binding. I read the book cover to cover and it was a very positive experience remembering the text conversations and photos we exchanged during Keith’s final years. The most special part of the book is on the last page where there is a QR code with an audio clip of Keith and his friends talking and laughing together at work. Thank you Josh!
Creating this book has been one of the best things that has happened to me since Keith’s passing. It was very cathartic and healing to have Keith’s words available for me to reread at my leisure without having to scroll through my phone to find them. Being a retired librarian, I realize that I probably am a little more biased about the importance, value, and impact of books and the written word. I am eternally grateful to Josh and My Forever Books and will continue to share My Forever Book experience with others.

It was such an incredible gift to be able to capture my texts with my late sister in such a beautiful format. I know the team is working on this, but because I use an iPhone but don't have a Macbook, it was a very challenging process to download our texts onto a friend's laptop and took four of us to figure out the process (also...we work in IT), even while reading the instructions very carefully. It was all worth it because the end product is beautiful, but it was neither quick, nor easy, unfortunately. I would still recommend this incredible product to anyone. I will keep it forever 🥹

I didn't realize how many messages there were so it took a bit of editing to streamline them. If I make another I'd probably edit them ahead of time. Since I met my boyfriend 2 1/2 years ago, I started to screen shot all my text messages and was going to put them in a book. After my son was randomly attacked and murdered, I found myself terrified of losing the text messages we had exchanged over the years while he was living in another country pursuing his doctoral degree. Those daily conversations allowed me to share in his journey, his accomplishments, and the ordinary moments of his life. After his death, they became one of the few tangible connections I still had with him, and knowing they existed only on my phone caused me enormous anxiety.

This is one gift to myself I won't regret! I made a Myforeverbook with texts from my mom and me. My mom passed in September 2024. We only had texts since December 2023 because my phone had been reset. I was anxious that it would get reset or I'd break it again before I got to save our texts. So this book was perfect. I didn't have to go in and screen shot our over 4,000 texts.
It was easy to upload, get my messages to look like I wanted, and to create a cover. I used a Canva template and I don't regret it one bit. I could filter which messages I chose to include, but I decided against that after a bit, because even the complaining, it was just us chatting.
This is something just for me! And I'm so happy I did it. I shared it with my siblings and other friends who have lost someone as it is something I never would have known I loved so much!
It was a leap of faith to pay first, then see how it turned out with design etc. But it worked out in my favor.
I had one issue with the cover, emailed Josh, and he got back to me almost immediately to fix it. He was on top of it! That customer service was exceptional!

🦋 I heard that when people die, their phone numbers can be replaced. This had me so worried about losing the text messages between me and my mom. My Forever Books provides such a wonderful keepsake and allowed me to print our chat of over 3 years as a book. I made a book to gift to my sister to ask her to be my Maid of Honor!! The process was super straight forward, I can’t believe they had the technology to download 8 YEARS worth of text messages!!! It came out EXACTLY how I wanted it and it was so fun to give it to her!! When she opened it she was shocked! I’ve always wished there was a way to store them in a way where they’re accessible bc we have the funniest memories over text- so when I saw this it was perfect!!! The book itself is wonderful. Getting to the part where you can create the book was absolutely not for the average person. The process is HARD and that is stating it lightly. The installation of the program was tedious. I have an iPhone and a Mac but when trying to download the file of the PC… let’s just saw it doesn’t work. Android uses may have better luck with that. Once I figured out how to install program, the rest not that hard. The next hard part came when it split into 2 books. After all that, I was able to create the book.

My teenage son and I were constantly talking, and when he wasn’t home, we texted back and forth. Exactly what I was searching for as a lead in to me asking my GF to marry me. The book was a history from 1st meeting her until the time we 1st discussed marriage.
The interface was slick, I had issues initially getting started and some issues with uploads, but Josh was a big help and showed great patience with my "user errors!"
Sadly, due to courier issues my book was several days late and due to extra handling, was beat-up.

Turning a WhatsApp chat into a book is a fantastic idea — a wonderful keepsake. It is incredibly easy to use: simply export the chat, paste it in, and you're done. One tiny point of criticism: the green color looked much lighter on my screen, but that isn't a problem at all. Yes, I would absolutely recommend this product to others. I was so incredibly excited to discover this company, it was exactly what I had been looking for. It gave me a way to create a physical embodiment of such a special time in my relationship, the “honeymoon phase,” that I can now always look back on and cherish.
So many of these messages would have been impossible to revisit otherwise, buried under years of newer conversations. Having them preserved in such a beautiful, tangible way means more to me than I can put into words. I ended up ordering two copies, and it has truly been a gift to myself as well.
I also want to highlight how amazing Josh, the owner, has been. He went above and beyond to help me with every single question I had, and even spent over an hour on a video call with me troubleshooting an issue caused by my computer. That level of care and dedication is so rare.

I could not be happier with the way my book turned out! The colors, the quality, the layout — everything looks amazing. The process was easy once I figured it out, especially since I’m not computer-savvy at all.
Customer service was outstanding from beginning to end. Josh answered every email right away whenever I had a question. We even scheduled a phone call so he could personally guide me through the process and show me some very cool features I hadn’t discovered on my own.
This was a Valentine’s gift for my boyfriend, with the text messages from the first three months of our relationship. He couldn’t believe such a unique and meaningful gift existed and was completely blown away by how special and memorable it was. I loved it so much that I ordered a copy for myself — there is nothing more beautiful to me than seeing our messages in print.

Josh was available by email when I had questions about the design process and needed clarification. Communications were very clear and timely. The design process allows for much customization. The book I received surpassed my expectations in every way. I shared photos on my social media account and got so much positive feedback. Many hearts. It is a beautiful, tangible way for me to look back through the memories of this important friendship. I will cherish this book always. This product made a great Valentine’s Day gift. I initially had some trouble with how my messages were being uploaded and Josh was super responsive and worked quickly to resolve the issue.
The overall quality is great. I went with the matte cover and I think in hindsight I should have gone with gloss, the matte finish picks up stains quickly.
One note for improvement, I ordered two books and on one, the cover was wrapped a bit off center along the spine and slanted at the front. The other was perfect.

I am so pleased with this book. I am not very internet saavy and had never opened the iTunes app before, let alone did a phone backup. Once I downloaded the correct programs it went smoothly. The website really walks you through how to upload your hundreds/thousands of text messages. It comes through beautifully. You can have portions of different text groups in your book too. Be sure to check who starts each conversation for each chapter and check the colors before finalizing, so the layout is correct in your book. Having a 150 page book of my messages with my deceased son is very special to me. An absolute gift. I highly recommend these books.

For Valentine's Day this year, I knew I wanted to compile a mini book of some of me and my husband's first messages to each other. At first I thought I could just use the same printing service we use for annual photo albums, but those platforms didn't look as good or fit as much on the page as I could with My Forever Books. I love the customization options through this platform and the ability to change the color of the chat bubbles and even write a personalized message at the introduction of the book. Also super cool that you can add narration to your text messages. The process was smooth and even regular standard shipping was very quick. I was being a bit frugal and opted for the plain paper instead of the glossy paper. It still came out ok, but I think in the future I would choose the glossy paper even though I really love the matte finish of the cover I chose. I would definitely recommend this to others and have already told some of my girlfriends about it.

I got a book of my husband and my text messages from when we first started dating and gave it to him as a wedding anniversary gift. He loved it and its now on display in our living room. The website to make the book was a little finicky. And when previewing the completed file I had to go and make adjustments to some of the messages because the bottom words were sometimes cut off. So editing and finalizing took me longer than I expected. But the finished product was beautiful and well worth the price.

I initially purchased this as a Christmas gift, but something happened with the PDF preventing it from being able to be printed. Josh was quick to reach out and kept me up to speed at every step. He was exceptional in communicating and trying everything possible to get my keepsake printed and in time for Christmas. Alas, a second attempt revealed there still being an issue with the file. Josh again was quick to reach out and let me know the issue was persistent. Having worked with countless PDF files over the years, I understood the frustration he related in their trying to get my 300 pages of chat messages printed.
Ultimately, Josh apologized for there simply not being enough time to try a third time and have the book ready for Christmas, despite all the efforts made on their end. This time, however, the printer got involved and the specific page was revealed. Following a bit of magic on their end, I have my book! I was able to take the text messages with my husband, who passed away from cancer, and turn them into two beautiful books. The first captures our messages from initial flirtation and asking me to dinner through our engagement, and the second documents our engagement through the morning of our wedding. I chose not to print our married texts, which were mostly grocery lists 😊. Having our relationship preserved this way is incredibly meaningful to me.
The book jackets were lovely, but I especially loved the polished look of the linen wrap with the foil-stamped title. They feel timeless and special—exactly what I was hoping for.
When I had a question about the cover I was creating, I was surprised and grateful to see the option to schedule a Google Meet for help. Even more amazing was that on Black Friday I was able to talk with someone live on video, and later learned it was the owner himself who helped me work through my questions.

Words cannot begin to express how grateful I am for Josh and his company My Forever Books. With several phone calls and lots of his own personal time invested in my situation, he helped me to create a set of books (4 volumes) for my daughter that she will be able to pass on to her children and her children’s children. I lost my wife on 6/23/23 to cancer. My daughter was 14 years old at that time and this was incredibly devastating to all of us. My daughter had every single text message saved from her mother from the time that she got her first cell phone. Several years of text messages totaling somewhere around 25,685 messages. Long story, short, her phone broke, and she did not realize it, but her messages were not backed up. With lots of effort, we were able to obtain all of those messages and Josh so graciously help me get all of these messages uploaded and helped me create these books with all of the text messages between my wife and daughter. I can’t even begin to describe her reaction when she seen these books on Christmas morning. That is a another story itself, but none of this could have happened without Josh. He is so invested in delivering a premium product and he is continuing to work at being the very best there is with a product such as this. Aside from all of his assistance and several hours on the phone, his compassion for my situation and the impact that it was going to have on my daughter was simply incredible! Technology is amazing but things happen, stuff breaks…. All of the text messages between my wife and my daughter are now frozen in time on the pages of these books and they will forever be available for my daughter to read. The process was as easy as it realistically could be, it just took some time to get things how I wanted them, and there are so many texts and all the ones I wanted to include did not fit in the maximum of 800 pages so it would have been nice if there was a way to condense them further, as well as make images smaller because I was not able to include them at all as they took up a lot of space. My girlfriend absolutely loved the book and was very happy to receive such a thoughtful book. I've been looking for a product like My Forever Books for a really long time, and everything I've found that's close isn't user-friendly or has a lot of technical glitches. I've been preserving my texts with my husband for eight years now by screenshotting them, printing 4x6 photos at Walgreens, and putting them in a photo album. I just received the My Forever Book I made and it's absolutely perfect! It's so much cleaner and more organized than my usual approach, has high production value, takes up way less space, and I can include only the texts I want (the screenshots always included clips of whatever texts preceded/followed them in the albums I had been making). I also loved the Canva templates that My Forever Books provided for the covers; I was able to match the hex code of the template I selected as the background so the spine matches seamlessly, it looks so professional. Thanks to the My Forever Books team for helping people physically preserve their love letters and memories in the digital age, it's truly a gift!

I went for a nearly 800 page hardcover and it feels like an epic novel, but it is a treasured archive of text messages with my girlfriend over the first few years of our relationship. She loved it!

I wanted to order a keepsake for a friend and I as they have decided to move away. Flipping through our exchanges through a physical book was a lovely way to go down memory lane and preserve our conversations.
I had some difficulties on my end checking my order but Josh was very quick to respond and went the extra mile to double check for me with the printing company as well as keep in contact about my order as it was going to be internationally shipped.
My book had around 400 pages or more but it still printed out very well, the pages are thick so that it's not that see through, and the glossy cover I chose feels great.
Would 10/10 recommend, an extra 11/10 for their service.

I don't typically write reviews, but I cannot stop talking about my forever book!! I got one for an anniversary present for me and my partner, documenting our first 4 months of flirting long distance. The quality blew me away! And the ease of using their website was SO NICE! I was searching for weeks to find something like this, and considered making it myself, but I'm overjoyed I landed here.
The only bumps I encountered were that they only include 1 photo when you send multiple, and super long messages can be broken up mid-sentence and were tricky to edit. But it was still certainly worth it to use their system! The print quality looks and feels amazing!!

I cannot rave about my experience with this company enough! I made a book of all my texts with my boyfriend for Valentine's day, and it was the perfect sentimental gift! And it didn't break the bank despite being over 200 pages! The process was simple enough, and I got to edit/customize our texts too (to edit typos, add/delete texts or photos, etc.). The whole process was great! And Josh was so helpful too! He was quick to respond over email with any questions I had!
Truly, the only issue I ran into was one Josh already promised he'd fix in the future. Also, some of my photos also printed slightly wonky in the text messages, but it really wasn't a big deal. Everything really turned out perfectly, otherwise.
Overall, such a great experience! I edited a cover photo through Canva, formatted it to the dimensions suggested by MyForeverBooks, and uploaded it with my book. It would be cool if I could upload a photo for the spine of the book too, but i still absolutely love the way my book turned out.
If you're thinking of doing this for you or a loved one, do it! It was such a sentimental gift that both my boyfriend and I will treasure forever.

My friend's mom passed away last year and she was worried about losing all of their text messages. We searched around online for a way to print them and ended up finding "My Forever Books". The process was super easy to follow from their site - we were able to export all of the messages, easily upload them, and then design the book. There are so many ways you can customize the book to be exactly what you want so we set our font size and colors and labels and submitted the order! After a week, the book came in the mail and it is amazing!!! I was truly surprised at the quality especially at the price point. Definitely recommend!!!

Josh and My Forever Books helped me achieve something that I had been told by "techies" was literally impossible: turning MANY thousands of text messages, along with images, into a beautiful hardcover book for my girlfriend. She had no words when I gave her the books, except: "Oh my God, you did it!" Apparently she'd been thinking of doing the same thing.
Josh is a great guy and he worked with me tirelessly to get these done, even getting on Zoom calls to troubleshoot, and innovating his own service in order to accommodate my needs. I created a book of our texts for my new wife. It was a wedding day gift. She absolutely loved it.
We did have a huge archive of text messages, and while I was overall happy with the product, the process could use some work.
The interface for the cover was also limited. There were only a few choices in available fonts and text placement was limited. I learned later that creating a cover and uploading a complete image would have been an easier choice.
Overall I'm very happy with the product and the idea, but the user interface could use some work.

I'm so glad I found this program to get our family stories written down without me having to rewrite them from the text messages my aunt and cousin were sharing. And it has old photos in it too!
The steps to upload our whole text conversation were easy for me to follow and I'm not great with technology. Josh was available right away to help me the three times I had questions.

So I had the idea of taking all the best text messages from myself and my girlfriend. I planned on printing them out and gluing them to a large card or book. I realized pretty quickly how much work and how long it was going to take even though I've only been seeing her for 4 months. I googled this idea to see if there was something out there to do it for me and I found forever book. I'm so glad, because I really didn't have the time and thought this idea was a winner. The process was super simple, in color, and you can add pictures. I chose a plain book so it wasn't obvious I didn't do it myself, but I don't think it would even matter if she knew. She loved it, immediately started crying and said it was the most thoughtful thing anyone has done for her. I'd recommend this to anyone with a similar idea, it doesn't cost much especially considering how much work it is doing it yourself. Josh's customer service was great. He was in constant communication with me, replying quickly. Thoughtful gifts are always the best and I would definitely recommend this service.

I made a book commemorating a trip with my girlfriend, and I'm ecstatic with the result! I chose a custom picture as my cover in the glossy finish, which turned out better than I imagined! Once I saw the idea, I knew exactly what I wanted to put into the book, and the process blew me away. Every customization was there and more, and the experience of making it itself was surprisingly fun. My girlfriend loved seeing our conversations come to life - our planning process, the little forgotten moments, and the pictures after the fact. I created a beautiful keepsake book from old text messages and some of our favorite photos using myforeverbooks.com. It was a spur of the moment gift for my wife, highlighting our early dating days through to our wedding.
